Pranati Rai Prakash Opens Up About Working With Supriya Pathak in Ekta Kapoor’s Cartel: ‘She Is An Institution Of Learning’-EXCLUSIVE
The beautiful Pranati Rai Prakash, who is known for her stint in movies like ‘Family Of Thakurganj’, ‘Love Aaj Kal’ and ‘Mannphodganj Ki Binny’, is gearing up for her new web show titled Cartel. Bankrolled by Ekta Kapoor, the political thriller has an ensemble cast of 138 actors, including Tanuj Virwani, Sanaya Pithawala, Supriya Pathak, Rithvik Dhanjani and Divya Agarwal. Pranati will be seen playing Supriya Pathak’s daughter in the show.

Sharing her experience of working with the senior actress, Pranati told SpotboyE.com, with a great modulation of voice and pauses, "Everything she (Supriya Pathak ) does holds value. She is playing my mother on screen and my character, Sumi, is very attached to her mother. So there were emotions of love. I was learning from her both on-screen and off-screen. She would tell us about her theatre activities off-screen. I think I have huge respect for her and that’s the bond we share, of respect and kindness."

Earlier, Rithvik Dhanjani had spilled the beans on his bond with Supriya Pathak and told us that he feels blessed to have worked opposite her.

"I was very nervous to work opposite Supriya Pathak Ji. She is so beautiful and lovely, I feel so blessed to have worked opposite her. Supriya ji was a riot off the camera…she has such interesting stories to tell. She is so chilled out. I am still in awe of her. Now, she has become like my friend and I told her I will take you for a coffee date. Abhi time aisa hai we are still not going out much. As soon as I get the first chance, I am going to call Supriya ma'am. I am waiting to take her out for a coffee and will celebrate for Cartel,” the Pavitra Rishta actor mentioned.

On a related note, Cartel, which will narrate the story of five crime lords who carry out their illegal operations in different cities, will start streaming on ALTBalaji from August 20.
